The VortekTM is the fullest featured muzzleloader ever built by TraditionsTM. We have taken all of our most popular features and molded them into one single unit. Starting with a new ergonomically designed alloy frame, a one piece trigger assembly that can be removed with a single screw for easy cleaning and maintenance. The 28 Stainless Steel barrel is loaded with features. Starting at the muzzle our PAS system allows for easier bullet starting and more consistent groups thanks to the ability to seat your bullet in the same place each time. The 360 degree barrel porting helps reduce muzzle jump and recoil and sitting atop the barrel are Williams metal fiber optic sights that can withstand the everyday wear and tear that you experience in the field. The Stainless Steel barrel can handle up to 150 grains of pelletized or loose powder. After a day at the range or in the field, you can simply unscrew the Accelerator Breech Plug with your fingers and drop the load out the back of the barrel or clean the barrel in a matter of minutes. The VortekTM is rounded out for an all around good feel thanks to over molded stocks and forends; this allows for sure grip even in the worst conditions. Camo models come equipped with soft touch.
